Leading Vehicle Management Solutions Provider Selects Microsoft Dynamics AX for Greater Power, Vision, Value and Control

ATLANTA (May 30, 2007) Fullscope, a Gold Certified Microsoft Business Solutions Partner focused on helping manufacturers manage their businesses more effectively and efficiently, today announced that QEK Global Solutions (QEK), a multi-national, integrated fleet services company, has selected Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 from Fullscope to provide enterprise resource planning (ERP) functionality for five sites throughout Mich., and in Ontario, Canada.

QEK is owned by a consortium of Shareholders consisting of Transportation Resource Partners, LP, United Auto Group, Inc. (NYSE: UAG), Penske Truck Leasing Co. L.P., and Opus Ventures General Partner Limited. QEK’s North American headquarters is based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

The company needed a flexible, adaptable ERP system to replace its aging AS/400 application. “We wanted an easy-to-use solution that not only worked out-of-the-box to address the current needs of our automotive service industry customers, but also had the agility to accommodate for future growth and business process changes,” said Tom Cyr, chief information officer of QEK. “Microsoft Dynamics AX will help us better manage our complex, variable business processes and streamline our invoicing procedures.”

QEK also required an ERP system that could easily support a dealer management system, as well as eGAMS, the company’s proprietary asset management system built on .NET architecture.

“With Microsoft Dynamics AX, QEK can seamlessly connect its operations and offer an ERP solution that has a familiar look and feel with other Microsoft solutions already in use,” said Russell Smith, president of Fullscope.

“The ability for QEK to easily view data as it is captured and make instant business decisions will allow QEK to better meet its business objectives both now and in the future.”
