Microsoft Shares AxPact Vision

AxPact, the global alliance of leading Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly Microsoft Axapta) partners held it’s quarterly conference on February 7th and 8th at the Royal Berkshire Hotel and Microsoft’s Thames Valley Park offices in UK. The two-day event focused on business development, the growth plans of the alliance, its relationship with Microsoft and the soon to be released Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0. The conference was addressed by Mark A. Jensen, General Manager for Microsoft Dynamics AX and was attended by 38 members. Also attending the conference was Jon Hughes of Microsoft UK.

In his speech to alliance members, Jensen said he was impressed with strict criteria for alliance membership and was happy with the continued expansion of AxPact into North America and Australia. He noted that the alliance’s partnership agreement gave AxPact members a formal framework to deliver great cross-border execution. He also shared Microsoft Dynamics AX roadmap with the alliance members.

AxPact’s Chairman Michael Blatherwick, MD of Sense Enterprise Solutions noted that members were excited to hear from Jensen, and that the insight he had offered into Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 strategy had proven to be in line with the expectation of alliance members for the short, medium and long term.

On day two, Hughes welcomed the delegates to Microsoft’s UK offices and shared his enthusiasm for AxPact’s expanding influence through its growing membership and partnerships.

AxPact Continues to Grow
Keith Dunkinson, the recently appointed Business Development Manager for AxPact presented the latest statistics for the impressive growth of the alliance, which encompasses thousand of staff members and over five hundred Microsoft Dynamics AX worldwide customers. Dunkinson also introduced several completed applications from potential new members from Poland, the United States and Slovakia.

Dunkinson also reported that of those who joined AxPact previous year, all of them had renewed their membership which he felt, provided testimony that AxPact was achieving its goals.
