US: American Apparel chooses Microsoft Dynamics’ ERP

T-shirt and casual wear maker American Apparel has chosen the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP solution to support its vertical supply chain, production, and global wholesale and retail operations.

American Apparel boasts the largest garment factory in the US with the largest stocked T-shirt line in the country. It knits, cuts, sews, markets, distributes, and designs T-shirts for men, women and children from its 800,000 square foot facility in downtown LA.

It is also one of the fastest-growing consumer apparel brands in the US with 14 authorised distributors and more than 153 international retail locations.

By manufacturing exclusively in the US, the company constantly strives to improve efficiency to remain competitive.
