Toyota Motor's Russian branch installed OLAP system

Source: www.ospint.com -- Toyota Motor has finished a project for building a CRM OLAP system based on Cognos BI software.

The analytical system implementation was aimed at making analysis of key logistics, marketing and sales planning indicators more efficient. Toyota Motor wanted to consolidate different source data in a single system, eliminate costs of manual data input in reports and give employees an opportunity to make arbitrary reports and conduct comprehensive analyses of information about customer relations.

The CRM solution, which was developed by Microtest, features Cognos Business Intelligence OLAP system toolset, the data warehouse is based on Oracle products and the data warehousing system on Microsoft SQL database.

The project has resulted in integration of Cognos analytical system with Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system, the dealer portal and other sources containing marketing information.
