Diamondback Tactical Upgrades to Dynamics AX 4.0 SP1 for ERP

Military equipment supplier becomes one of first manufacturing companies to migrate to updated Microsoft enterprise resource planning system.

Watertown, MA — Green Beacon Solutions - March 23, 2007 — Military equipment supplier Diamondback Tactical has become one of the first manufacturing companies to upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0 to the Dynamics AX 4.0 SP1 enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in a project managed by services provider Green Beacon Solutions.

Peoria Ariz.-based Diamondback Tactical (DBT Defense) is a supplier and distributor of tactical gear and military equipment. Upgrading its ERP system to Dynamics AX 4.0 SP1 was a key element in successfully securing refinancing for the fast-growing organization, which was looking to translate core business requirements into a configurable rather than customized solution.

The company selected Green Beacon Solutions as its strategic advisor for the upgrade in order to leverage Green Beacon's expertise in aligning ERP technology development with business processes and in enabling workflow efficiency between departments and enhanced management insight into the performance of the business.
