Sense Customer Wins Industry Oscar!
The first annual Microsoft Convergence event for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) was held recently in Munich (November 6/7/8) and focused on Microsoft’s fast growing Dynamics products. The event, which brought together over 3200 Microsoft partners and customers, was kicked off by Bill Gates himself who shared Microsoft’s future vision and strategy for business computing and how Microsoft would deliver real world benefits to their customers.
Microsoft also recognised those customers who had made best use of their technology to drive business benefits and it was Sense’s Dynamics AX solution for their client I’Anson Bros that attracted the highest accolade!
In presenting to Sense / I’Anson the ‘Overall Excellence’ award,
Microsoft have placed them at the pinnacle of their network - ahead
of other award winning work for such luminaries as Toyota, BMW
and Endsleigh Insurance. I’Anson Brothers was established over 100 years ago in the small market town of Masham, deep in the heart of the Yorkshire dales, as a supplier of animal feeds to local farmers.
Today, the business is owned and run by the fourth generation of the I’Anson family and supplies specialist farms feeds, micronized ingredients and unique horse feeds to over 25 countries. It has grown into a business with an annual turnover of £20 million and a workforce of 60. Its modern manufacturing plant is at the forefront of technology.
Their M.D., Chris I’Anson travelled to Germany to receive the award from Tami Reller, Microsoft Corporate Vice President of the Business Solutions Marketing Group. Commenting on their success Chris said,
“Working with Sense to implement Dynamics AX has streamlined
processes, reduced operating costs and improved customer service. We now get immediate and accurate management information which is critical to the day to day running and our growth strategy.”
The technical quality of Sense’s work is a key attribute recognised
by companies choosing a Dynamics AX solution from them -
Microsoft has certainly acknowledged not just this element alone -
the award, to quote Microsoft: “demonstrates amazing
achievements in more than one category of excellence” – a fitting
accolade and tribute to a collaboration in which both companies are justifiably proud.
