Columbus IT pushes Microsoft Business Solutions at GITEX 2006

The largest Microsoft Business Solution's partner worldwide, Columbus IT announced a successful participation in this year's GITEX.

Located within the hugely popular Microsoft stand at the Sheik Rashid Hall, Columbus IT showcased its premier Microsoft Enterprise Resource Planning solutions - Dynamics NAV and Dynamics AX at GITEX 2006. Working closely with the Microsoft team, Columbus IT benefited greatly from the leading IT event through the establishment of key partnerships and the demonstration of vertical solutions for growing industries including retail, construction and others.

With a wide variety of solutions aimed at catering to the end-to-end business needs of diverse organizations, Columbus IT Middle East focused on a number of innovative applications, ranging from Dynamics AX-based Retail Chain Manager for medium and large sized retail organizations to AX-based Construction Suite for the booming construction and contracting industry in the region.

Developed by Columbus IT, Retail Chain Manager demonstrated its strength in answering the specific needs and challenges of the Middle Eastern retail industry, and Columbus IT confirmed its consultative retail expertise through the event. On the other hand, the Columbus Construction Suite showed the simplicity of automating budgets, follow-up and logistics procedures with ongoing reporting of everything from profit to liquidity management, stock, and work in progress, through the established Dynamics AX-based solution.
