Bill Gates has ambitions for Danish subsidiary
Copenhagen Business News, At the first Microsoft Convergens conference outside the USA, Microsoft’s founder Bill Gates spoke at a packed meeting with approximately 3,000 Microsoft customers in Munich, writes Berlingske Tidende.
Here he told about his view on the use of the all Danish software Navision and Axapta which today are integrated in Microsoft Business Solution under the new name of Dynamics.
The ambitions are to contact 36 countries worldwide, delivering the Dynamics-products both as the well-known licence-based versions as today, which especially small and medium-sized companies use, but also to expand with web solutions so that Dynamics will work integrated with the Internet as well as the programme also in the future is to be sold to large companies.
“We are very pleased with the persons we have in Copenhagen. We have the very best people to do the work,” continued Gates addressed to the nearly 800 persons who are today working in Microsoft in Vedbæk where former Navision was located.
Next year Microsoft Convergens will be held in Copenhagen.
