MPS partner Edan introduces new version of eGraph Dynamics AX on the Benelux market

Source: EDAN Business Software -- MPS Graphics, the Danish developer of graphical software, has launched a new version of the software eGraph Dynamics AX. eGraph Dynamics AX is a total solution seamlessly combining the functionalities of a standard ‘business software’ or integrated MIS systeem (Microsoft Dynamics AX) with the specific software requirements of the graphical industry (eGraph). In the Benelux, the system is distributed and implemented by Edan Business Software.

The graphical functionalities in eGraph are clustered in the following domains: precalculation, planning and production, online registration, postcalculation and order follow-up. This is a summary of the most important new features:


* The new release contains extended functionality for production planning, such as parallel planning,
as well as forward and backward planning based on milestones.

* Bookprinting and bookbinding companies, as well as label printing companies, have at their disposal
fully revised and/or newly added modules answering their requirements.

* The postcalculation functionality in the new version has been optimised with a view to decreasing
manual manipulations.

* The follow-up of milestones for subcontracting has been widely extended.

* Extensions in JDF enable the JDF solution to be used for prepress, conventional printing, cutting, folding, ...

* Thanks to the JMF link, the eGraph user can generate a “Status cockpit” containing the
running production data per machine.

* New reports are available in the business analysis functionality.
