Fullscope Releases Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0
Wisconsin food manufacturer becomes first customer on the new release
ATLANTA - Fullscope, Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified business partner, today announced the availability of Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0. Developed by Fullscope as part of the Microsoft Industry Builder Initiative, the new Process release is compliant with the recently announced Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0, an adaptable, global business-management solution that works like and with familiar Microsoft software to deliver a complete enterprise resource planning (ERP) package to automate and streamline processes across a company’s financials, customer relationships, business services, human resources and the supply chain.
Fullscope’s Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 is designed specifically to help food and beverage, pharmaceutical, life sciences, pulp and paper, and primary metals companies optimize their process manufacturing operations for increased profitability and competitive advantage. Key functionality for process manufacturers includes:
· Supply Chain Management: first expired/first out shelf life management, lot traceability and serialization, production process definition and management, approved vendor management;
· Process Inventory Management: catch weight/dual units of measure, process item costing, multi-dimensional inventory capabilities, container management;
· Formula and Recipe Management: formula and recipe definition, process item management, batch creation and management, co-products and by-products; and
· Quality Management: quality control and quality assurance.
Fullscope sold its first Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 solution earlier this month to a food manufacturer in Wisconsin. The manufacturer cited flexibility and out-of-the-box, complete integration to Microsoft Exchange, Office, Sharepoint, SQL and Windows Server as the key reasons for the selection.
“Process Industries for Microsoft AX 4.0 is a robust enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that can address the specific problems of process manufacturers while delivering a very low total cost of ownership due to its Microsoft-based platform,” said Russell Smith, Fullscope president and CEO. “We are pleased to add a new company to our growing family of process manufacturing customers, and we look forward to working with our new customer to help meet its specific business goals and objectives.”
