Partner Power Russia (IBS) announces the completion of implementation project concerning corporate management system in Gloria Jeans Corporation.

More than 12 thousand people are engaged in production alone. New production units join 12 already working enterprises every month, new workplaces are being set up, powerful production facilities are being established in Eastern Donbass, in such production-potential towns as Novoshakhtinsk, Shakhti, Millerovo, Zverevo, Ust’-Donetsk, Kamensk-Shakhtinskii, Prokhladnii, and others.

Now, it is the second year of Gloria Jeans retail chain development and the number of retail outlets, currently overshooting 130, will amount to 500 in the nearest future. It is worth pointing out that Gloria Jeans stores, opening even at a distance of 1 km from each other, are profitable.

The stage of steady growth has caused the necessity of creating the integrated management system in order to improve the company manageability. It was required to solve the following tasks: assure high efficiency of warehouse management due to real-time accounting based on storage addresses; formalize the procedure of supply chain management for better reliability and timeliness of accounting data, reduce errors caused by human factor.

Microsoft Business Solutions – Axapta was chosen as the most suitable solution to set up unified information environment, integrate all critical business processes of the company, process large data files and present the results of the company’s units activities in the real time mode. Partner Power Russia (IBS) was chosen as a partner for the Microsoft Axapta implementation.

The project of setting up an integrated system at Gloria Jeans Corporation, JSC, involved two key stages: Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Management.

The project started with the automation of material warehouses management. The Partner Power Russia (IBS) experts have developed a dedicated solution for warehouse logistics aimed to support the functioning of the warehouse, which supplies textile fabric to all of the Corporation’s clothing manufactures, as well as the work of a joint storage of accessories.

The following business processes of a warehouse logistics have been automated: Specification of Products; Supply Chain Management (SCM); Assignments on writing-off fabric to manufacturing.

For the second warehouse (of textile fabric), a flow chart of joint operation of Microsoft Axapta system and data acquisition terminals has been worked out in order to increase the running speed and reduce the number of human errors. The results indicated have been achieved due to bar-coding for the warehouse and nomenclature objects.

The Microsoft Axapta system has made it possible to support up to 500 item positions at the address-specific storage and up to 4000 address-free positions; deliver up to 10000 lines of storage registry per day and fulfill up to 300 production orders a day.

Second stage involved the development and implementation of a raw materials and supplies management module. This module comprises the automation of purchase records, monitoring of goods transfer from supplier to the Corporation’s warehouse, record-keeping of on-line payments budget and of trade payables.
