Manhattan Associates' Supply Chain Execution Solutions to Fulfill Microsoft Channel's Industry-Specific Needs
Unveiled as One of Five Solutions Built for Businesses in Growing, Dynamic Industries.
ATLANTA - Leading supply chain solutions provider, Manhattan Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH), announced that its Supply Chain Execution for Microsoft Axapta solution was unveiled yesterday as one of five industry-specific products developed in close alliance with Microsoft as part of their Microsoft Industry Builder initiative.
The solutions are designed for businesses that specialize in retail, distribution and manufacturing and have been developed for Microsoft® Business Solutions-Axapta®, now part of Microsoft Dynamics™. These industry-specific solutions are a part of the first wave of Microsoft's Industry Builder initiative, which will offer customers solutions that are packaged with Microsoft support offerings and high-quality code review.
The initiative was announced at this year's Convergence, the annual event for organizations that use products and services offered by Microsoft. Since that time, Manhattan Associates and the Microsoft channel have successfully engaged in new customer implementations in North America and Europe. Support for the initiative has been well received since the initial announcement in March with business partners and customers alike agreeing that the time is right for Microsoft's Industry Builder initiative.
The Manhattan Associates Supply Chain Execution for Microsoft Axapta solution enables companies to improve supply chain operations with a faster, more efficient flow of goods through the distribution center, an optimized facility layout, increased workforce productivity and integrated transportation management. By synchronizing, in real-time, the movement of people, products and information, businesses can optimize processes, reduce time and costs and improve profit margins.
Jeff Cashman, Manhattan Associates' Vice President, Business Development, commented, "This initiative further builds on our long-standing relationship with Microsoft by combining our solutions with their capabilities to go beyond the functionality delivered by traditional warehouse management or business management solutions. I am pleased to see the initial success both in the US and international markets and our growing pipeline of channel deals in the mid-market."
These solutions are being launched by Microsoft in multiple countries including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.
