Growing interest in Axapta - Axapta Blog expedition
The Axapta Knowledge Village Group started May 22, 2004 as a reaction on the intention of Microsoft to close down Technet.
Since the start the knowledge village became an important source of information for the Axapta world. The yahoo group has an average of 400 messages a month.
Recently I noticed there is a growing interest in Axapta judging by the number of weblogs and websites launched the last months. Most of these weblogs present the knowledge and experiences of their owners. The rebranding of Axapta stimulated a lot of people to start a weblog.
Good news for newcomers in the world of Axapta. A lot of information becomes freely available. Just visit these weblogs and read what people are writing.
Till today blogging about Axapta has been a learning experience. I personally encourage everyone to follow and start writing about Axapta.
I am interested in reading more about implementation concepts, stories that explain how organizations benefit from Axapta, challenges people are facing when implementing Axapta. Because many people are already writing about technical issues. Fact is that almost 75% of the questions on the knowledge village group is related to development and cover technical issues.
Apparently it is difficult to write about embedding Business processes in Axapta. People that would like to share their experiences in that area remember you do not have to start your own blog. Hook onto one of the existing blogs, the Axapta Lessons Learned blog welcomes you if you are ready.
For those of you that would like to follow my blog expedition. I am maintaining a list of excellent Axapta Bloggers. You can find the list on the right bar.
Let me know if someone is missing and tell us whether you'd like it.
If you want to find other bloggers have a look at Technorati axapta.
