Popularity of Axapta

Many people are interested in knowing the facts and figures about Axapta implementations. There are several news and other community sites that offer daily information on MBS Axapta.

Figures and experiences of customers are not published and even hard to get.

There has been an "independent" research (see blog entry of 23 Octover 2004) where following aspects were investigated:

# why and when Axapta was selected
# the deployment process and budget
# expected and achieved benefits
# expected and incurred costs
# training
# consulting
# deployment challenges

The researchers contacted 35 (only) companies using Axapta. 16 did participate.

In an attempt to retrieve some realistic figures for the Axapta community, a database is created on the Axapta Knowledge Village group where members can enter their company details. All members are encouraged to post their details. [The database is only available for members.]
